Walpole Co-operative Bank brightens the holidays for children at Longview Farm
WALPOLE, MASSACHUSETTS, January 20, 2010 . . . Walpole Co-operative Bank played “Secret Santa” to the residents of the Home for Little Wanderers’ Longview Farm in Walpole this year with its gift of an Xbox 360.
According to Joseph V. Scholl, President and CEO, the Bank contacted the staff at Longview earlier this season and asked how it could help brighten the holidays for the youngsters there. Longview Farm program representative Edie Janas visited the Bank to accept the “wish list” gift.
“Being directly involved in the community like this brightens the holidays for us, as well,” said Scholl. “It’s all part of being a true community bank.”
